MORE THOUGHTS
In addition to the Duncum questions, you could ask students:
-How many times have you been "sold" by an advertisement?
-What was it about the ad that caught your attention or persuaded you to make a purchase?
-Do you feel like a victim of the media or do you feel in control?
-Is it fair to be manipulated by images or do you think that people are completely aware of the buying decisions they make?
-Do you think the ads you viewed targeted a specific group? If so, who? What specifically made you come to those conclusions?
-Students could also compare and contrast images. (Think about the variations.)

*Sharing Alternatives: posting to a wiki, bsharing in a VoiceThread, virtual conferences, //etc.//

CONCLUSION
Skim through the Google applications, what subjects could be applied to this topic?
What other 21st Century Skills did we address? Think about the tasks we performed.
